:That can be done regardless of the proposal's outcome, like the game block/data size inarguably would fit on GameCube page for like GameCube games. [[User:Super Mario RPG|Super Mario RPG]] ([[User talk:Super Mario RPG|talk]]) 20:10, May 9, 2024 (EDT)

The scope of this article has little to no relation of the Super Mario franchise. The main focus is about how Memory Cards work with Nintendo consoles, except this is the Super Mario Wiki and not a Nintendo wiki. The only real relevance to Mario games this article has is showing how many blocks of space each game takes, and that's something that can be mentioned in each game's article.

Support

  1. Nightwicked Bowser (talk) Delete them all!
  2. Sparks (talk) What does this have to do with Mario?
  3. Super Mario RPG (talk) I'm currently rewriting the page to become more Super Mario-friendly, but I'm okay with this too. There's no real unique functionality between SD storage mediums and the Super Mario franchise.

Oppose

  1. DandelionSprout (talk) I oppose on technical grounds, as this kind of content would fit better on consoles' pages, as opposed to only moving them to each and every individual game's pages. Moving it to consoles' pages would also retain the ability to directly compare a console's game's filesizes to one another, and to more easily explain the "block" filesize differences between GameCube and later consoles. The Nintendo 64 section I agree could be moved to Mario Kart 64, but the other sections should not and cannot be very widely spread across some 35 games' pages.
