Kriffids are dry-looking variants of Artichokers in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its remake. Kriffids appear in Land's End and are often found alongside Geckits in battle. Kriffids likely receive their name from the Triffids, a fictional plant species from the novel The Day of the Triffids, which is also referenced in their thought in the remake.
