A '''Paratroopea''' is a winged [[Troopea]] that appears in the north and beach areas of [[Beanbean Fields]] in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]''. They resemble [[Koopa Paratroopa|Paratroopas]], only they are four-footed and have sprouts on the tops of their heads. Paratroopeas are sometimes assisted by [[Bob-omb]]s, and in turn, Paratroopeas occasionally appear alongside [[Tanoomba]]s in battle. Their main attack consists in swooping down at [[Mario]] or [[Luigi]], but the plumbers can easily dodge it by watching the Paratroopea's shadow on the floor and jumping. If the Paratroopea dips a little before flying into the sky, it targets Luigi. If not, its target is Mario. Paratroopeas are able to heal all other enemies in battle by creating water droplets that land on their injured allies.
