Full Chakroads Map

The Chakroads are portals which Bowser uses to travel through in the game, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Bowser first encounters a Chakroad in the Cavi Cape after hearing a strange voice, which explains that they can take him to places through his mind. Although Chakroads can take Bowser through many places throughout the overworld, they can only take him to places where he has been to and found the Chakroad in. Chakroads can be found under things such as rocks that Bowser can simply punch to break. It is later found out that Chakroads are owned by Chakron.

Locations

  1. Cavi Cape Entrance: Under a boulder Bowser must punch so it breaks and he can use it.
  2. Cavi Cape Exit: Under another boulder, near the tunnel that leads to Bumpsy Plains.
  3. Plack Beach: Hidden below a palm tree that has to be burned by Bowser
  4. Dimble Wood Hidden below a tree. Bowser must do the same as said above.
  5. Bowser Castle
  6. Underground Tunnel Under a crate.
  7. Lake-Plain Border: Under a giant Brick Block
  8. Peach's Castle: Under a Fawfulfied Princess Peach Statue
  9. Top of Peach's Castle

Since they are always hidden under things that only Bowser can unveil, the Mario Bros. cannot use Chakroads. If the portals are not already unveiled, they cannot see them either.

Trivia

  • The name Chakroad is a portmanteau of chakra and road. In Hinduism and Buddhism, the chakras, or energy centres, are special focal points located on the body, described as whorls of received and transmitted energies. Similarly, Chakroads are depicted as whorls of energy that form special "focal points" for Bowser in the Mushroom Kingdom.
