Like ''The Legend of Zelda'' × ''Mario Kart 8'', this pack contains three new [[List of characters|characters]], four new vehicles (2 [[kart]]s, a [[bike]], and an [[All-Terrain Vehicle|ATV]]), a new set of [[tire]]s, a new [[glider]], and two new [[cup]]s with four courses each.

These characters may appear as CPU racers when the DLC has been bought. Additionally, in online races, players that have not purchased the pack can see other players use these characters.

The character comes in male and female variants, both have slightly different stats.

If both ''The Legend of Zelda'' × ''Mario Kart 8'' and ''Animal Crossing'' × ''Mario Kart 8'' were purchased, either separately or as a bundle, the player instantly received eight new color swaps of both [[Yoshi]] and [[Shy Guy]]. Neither Yoshi nor Shy Guy appear as computer racers in these alternate colors. The following colors were included:
