Two giant Lava Bubbles are present in [[Hyper Hydrants]], a minigame from ''[[Mario Party 3]]''. Each of them confronts a pair of characters by continuously sending moving flames at them. The flames can be doused by having one player pump water and the other player use it to spray the flames via a hose. The giant Lava Bubbles are stationary and will disappear after the minigame ends.

He is angry at Mario for breaking into his home and is accompanied by a [[Shy Guy]] that interprets his rumble-based speech. In battle, he can attack by turning red and shooting out flames, causing damage to both Mario and the Shy Guy. He can also attack by flying at Mario, just like normal Lava Bubbles, doing 15 HP of damage. He can only be damaged by [[Ice Flower]]s, Hurlhammers, Things, and Iron Jumps.
