For this event, the player must start holding their system horizontally. At the start of the event, the character runs up to jump line automatically at a single speed which the player cannot effect. As the character approaches the line, the event changes into slow motion to allow the player enough time to perform the jump and prompts the player to tilt their system. After they have done so, the event returns to normal speed and the player is told at what angle they titled their system, and whether it was too high or too low. The distance of their jump depends on how far away from the line that they were when they jumped and how close to the 45° ideal angle they tilted the system. It does not matter whether the angle was too low or too high as a similar distance would be achieved either way. If the player manages to perform a jump with a near-perfect angle and a takeoff close to the foul line, their character will perform a special jump with a unique animation that allows them to achieve a much greater distance. [[Orbot & Cubot]], purple, yellow and blue [[Toad (species)|Toad]]s appear as judges in this event.
