Editing Mario's Memory Madness

The gameplay is based on a {{wp|Concentration (game)|memory}} game where the player has to flip and match pairs from a group of cards owned by [[Mario]], depicting items, locations and characters from ''Mario Party''. The game is spread across several rounds; each round, the number of cards increases, and starting with the second round, cards occasionally change positions. The player earns five [[coin]]s for matching a pair of cards and has a time allotted to finish each round. [[Coin Box (Mario Party series)|Coin Box]]-like mushrooms sometimes appear temporarily and move among the cards; while they are on the screen, the player earns ten coins for every match instead of the usual five. If the time runs out, [[Bowser]] steals Mario's cards, ending in a game over.
