|Players wield a hoop and dance to one of three songs (Farandole, the main theme of ''Super Mario Bros.'', or Wonder World from ''Sonic Lost World''). |A Golden Gauge appears on the top, and when enough button presses are made, the environment changes, with changes to the floor and button tracks depending on the song. In the ''Super Mario''-themed song, the floor will turn gold and [[Green Shell]]s and [[Bullet Bill]]s will occasionally fly along the track. In the ''Sonic''-themed song, the floor will become checkered and the buttons will sometimes resemble rings, while the track resembles the loops from the classic ''Sonic'' games. Farandole cannot be selected in the Plus version of this event.
