To get Nana's attention, [[Luigi]] knocks her balls of yarn onto the floor, thus provoking her into attacking him. She attacks by floating around the room on her rocking chair. Luigi sucks up the three yarn balls and hits Nana with them to expose her heart to attack, all the while avoiding her needle eye beams, dealing ten HP worth of damage. If Luigi misses, Nana cackles and disappears. The only way to make her reappear is to exit the room and enter again. She escapes with medium pulls when she gets sucked in by Luigi. In the 3DS Boss Rush mode, If Luigi misses the balls of yarn, the battle restarts.
