The second new mode, Race (Taisen Mode in Japanese), allows two players to play at once, similar to the multiplayer version of Paper Plane in ''[[WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!]]''. Both players use the same Nintendo DSi and play in the same environment. One player controls the blue paper plane with the {{button|ds|Pad}} Directional Pad, while the other player controls the red paper plane with the {{button|ds|A}} and {{button|ds|Y}} buttons. The DSi's top screen follows the blue paper plane, while the Touch Screen follows the red paper plane. Unlike other game modes, if either paper plane hits an obstacle in this mode, it quickly respawns, allowing players to continue racing. The player who reaches the goal first wins. | The second new mode, Race (Taisen Mode in Japanese), allows two players to play at once, similar to the multiplayer version of Paper Plane in ''[[WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!]]''.
