Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Difference between revisions

There are 48 race courses in the game (including all four cups that were DLC in the original ''Mario Kart 8''), these being the 25 courses introduced in the original game and 23 retro, including two courses from ''Super Mario Kart'', three courses each from ''Mario Kart: Super Circuit'', ''Mario Kart DS'', and ''Mario Kart Wii'', and four courses each from ''Mario Kart 64'', ''Mario Kart: Double Dash!!'', and ''Mario Kart 7''. It is also the first ''Mario Kart'' game since ''Mario Kart 64'' to have all courses available from the start. Names in italics indicate the British English name for the course. In addition, the February 2022 Nintendo Direct confirmed the existence of more DLC tracks (all of which are retro) in the form of the ''Booster Course Pass'' which will add 2 new cups of 8 tracks (4 each) per wave right through to the end of 2023 (for a further 48 courses; doubling the original list size) and will also incorporate circuits from the mobile spin-off entry, ''Mario Kart Tour'' like Tokyo Blur. It will begin with Wave 1 releasing on March 23rd, 2022.
