Should we have a headline explaining the difference between the Japanese and Western boxarts? It seems why the cover illustration was re-illustrated for the Western versions would be that the Japanese cover was considered controversial and would aim to younger gamers about violence to individuals (such as Bowser trying to grab Toadstool and Yoshi sticking his tongue about to gulp one of his opponents, though he doesn't do it in the game) and the Western covers are a toned-down version of the Japanese one. --[[User:PrincessDaisyFanatic3883|PrincessDaisyFanatic3883]] ([[User talk:PrincessDaisyFanatic3883|talk]]) 19:46, 15 January 2015 (EST)

So these class names ("The Beginners", "The Brothers" ...) are taken from the manual? That's interesting, since my manual lists other names:

  • "The Bros" for Mario and Luigi
  • "The Dragon and The Lady" for Princess and Yoshi
  • "The Showdown" for Bowser and Donkey Kong Jr.
  • "The Small Guys" for Koopa Troopa and Toad

I think you have the official names. The ones in the article are probably just filler for lack of knowing the official names. -- Son of Suns
That's it, finally we have the proper class names, I just couldn't remember them... Luigi 7

Mode 7

Shouldn't it be mentioned that the game used the Super NES's Mode 7 feature for the pseudo-3D graphics? TJ Spyke 20:05, 16 December 2008 (EST)

Pseudo-3D graphics? User:Dry Paratroopa/sig

It's what some SNES games like Super Mario Kart, F-Zero, Star Fox, and the Mine Cart section of Super Mario RPG. It's pretty much putting a flat sprite on a 3d landscape. And yes we should. User:ChillGuy

Super Mario Kart/Glitches

Shouldn't we add glitches page? Because it has some:

150cc???

I was playing SMK and unlocked 150cc by beating all 100c cups with gold then why does the article and various other ones say it wasn't in Super Mario Kart?
