Happiness Medals are medals that the Spirits of Yoshi's Island award Yoshi with if he completes his missions in Yoshi Topsy-Turvy.
Happiness Medals have an important role. To receive one, Yoshi must complete the tasks given by the Spirits. A number of Happiness Medals are required to go to the next chapter. There are two types of Happiness Medals that Yoshi can obtain, the Silver Medal and the Gold Medal.
- A Silver Medal is earned if Yoshi gets a score near that required by the Spirits. Additionally, the player gets two chances in the Bonus Chance!
- A Gold Medal is earned if Yoshi gets a score better than that required by the Spirits. Additionally, the player gets better odds at winning the Bonus Chance!
