Template:Quote2 Brian Tyler is an American composer and record producer, known for creating soundtracks to various films, television series, and video games, including the Fast & Furious franchise, the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Age of Ultron (as well as the Marvel Studios logo fanfare used from 2013 to 2016), The Expendables trilogy, and the Yellowstone television series, among many others. Tyler also re-arranged the Universal Pictures fanfare, originally composed by Jerry Goldsmith, for the centennial logo from 2012 onwards.

Brian Tyler, under guidance, supervision, and assistance from Koji Kondo, scored the soundtrack for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. The film's soundtrack incorporates many different samples, interpolations, and homages to other Super Mario and Donkey Kong Country series tracks. An official soundtrack album titled The Super Mario Bros. Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) was released featuring various arrangements Tyler created for the film, including some not used in the final film. The "Mario Brothers Rap" (by Ali Dee) and "Peaches" (performed by Jack Black) are the only songs featured on the soundtrack that do not credit Tyler.
