"Abilities are similar to Spin Drill from SMG2"Edit

I strongly disagree with this statement. They're both just based on drills.

Drill Mario Spin Drill Similar?
Wears a costume Holds the object X
Defeats enemies from above Doesn't defeat enemies from above X
Stays in the ground, just under the surface Doesn't stay in the ground X
Has fully controllable horizontal movement Has automatic vertical movement X
Can burrow into the ceiling Cannot burrow into the ceiling X
Has a drill Has a drill
Attacks enemies from above Attacks enemies from above
Digs up buried things Opens a hole to let water out once X/✓ I guess

Saying they are similar is misleading in my opinion. If anything Drill Mario is more similar to the Drill ability from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Yook Bab-imba 12:09, May 8, 2024 (EDT)

I mean... they both can dig into the ground. That alone makes them similar. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 12:46, May 8, 2024 (EDT)
The phrasing of the article implies the similarities are deeper than that, though. "Mario can defend from attacks coming from the above [not in SMG2], drill into breakable objects [marginally comparable] with it (resembling a more powerful version of the Ground Pound), and burrow both underground and into the ceiling [not in SMG2]. (...) These abilities are similar to those of the Spin Drill in Super Mario Galaxy 2." The SMBW and SMG2 articles even cite Drill Mario as a reference to the Spin Drill, which as far as I know is pure speculation, and is part of my issue with how this is parsed.
