When [[Luigi]] visits Rome, he must defeat a Koopa carrying the coins, return them to the Trevi Fountain's information booth, and prove their authenticity by answering various questions (listed below). The Trevi Fountain appears as one of the landmarks in the [[Rome Avanti|Rome Avanti 3]] course in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', where players glide over the fountain. [[Note Block]]s appear over the fountain in the T variant, while colored [[Water Geyser]]s spout out of it in the R/T variant.

The Trevi Fountain returns in {{classic|Tour|Rome Avanti}} in the ''{{Booster Course Pass}}'' DLC for ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]''. The fountain is now properly flowing, rather than being static as in ''Mario Kart Tour'', and its waters can now be driven through as an [[Underwater driving|underwater section]].
