'''Urspikes''' (originally named '''Oerlikons''') are purple urchin-like enemies found in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]'' and its [[Super Mario RPG (Nintendo Switch)|remake]]. They are found in [[Barrel Volcano]]. They are a color swap of [[Spikey (Super Mario RPG)|Spikey]]s and [[Spikester]]s. They are the strongest species of Spikeys.

Their name is a portmanteau of "urchin" and "spike". Their original name likely comes from the {{wp|Oerlikon 20 mm cannon|Oerlikon 20 mm anti-aircraft gun}}, with the enemy's spikes blocking Mario's jumping attacks being equated to air defense in a way.
