The first time the player talks to him, he offers a plunger for free, because it is Mario's first time. After that, he will sell [[Battle Card (Paper Mario: Color Splash)|Things]] to Mario for a price. However, the player must squeeze the Thing in the level it came from first before he sells it. If the player already has a Thing, the item is marked as "Sold Out." If the player needs a Thing, but the Wringer doesn't have it, it is marked as "Coming Soon".
