The [[Poison Mushroom]] is a capsule in ''[[Mario Party 5]]'', where it goes under the name [[Cursed Mushroom]]. It can be thrown to a space on the board or used on the player for five [[coin]]s. Its effect is still the same as from ''[[Mario Party 2]]'' and ''[[Mario Party 3]]''. In ''[[Mario Party 6]]'', it becomes an Orb that players can only use in Solo Mode, where they can only roll 1-3 on the [[Dice Block|dice]]. In ''[[Mario Party 7]]'', it is an item that is only given away by [[Koopa Kid]] for anyone who lands on a [[Koopa Kid Space]].
