The secrets are a collectible that appear in Super Mario 64 and the remake, Super Mario 64 DS. They are generally located in 5 spots that Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, or Wario would not think to look or are hidden in secretive places, and once five of those spots are found, a Power Star is rewarded for Mario's efforts. However, they can also be obvious, for instance, Bob-omb Battlefield's five secrets are located within the Coin Rings that are placed high in the sky.
