A Lightning Orb is an object in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They are balls which are powered by Luigi's Thunderhand. Two can be found on the east of the Beanbean Castle. Powering up the Lightning Orbs opens up a path that leads to a cave where the Hammerhead Bros. are located. This is necessary for getting the Super Hammer upgrade.
