A Small Urchin[1] is a miniature sub-species of Urchins that first appears in New Super Mario Bros. 2.
Small Urchins appear only in World 3, and unlike regular Urchins and Big Urchins, they stand still. Small Urchins can be defeated with a Fire Flower, Super Leaf, Gold Flower, or Super Star.
