Template:Worldbox World 2 is the second world found in Super Mario Bros. The difficulty for this world is slightly higher than that of World 1. This is the first world to introduce an underwater level, as well as a seaside level.

Level Preview Summary
World 2-1 SMAS SMB World 2-1 Title Card.png This level takes place in an area similar to World 1-1, with many pipes and enemies. This stage also introduces Coin Heaven and jumping boards.
World 2-2 SMAS SMB World 2-2 and 7-2 Title Card.png The first underwater level in the game, this level introduces Bloobers and Cheep-cheeps.
World 2-3 SMAS SMB World 2-3 Title Card.png This level has the player run across a long bridge while avoiding Cheep-cheeps.
World 2-4 Preview for most castles from the Super Mario All-Stars versions of Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. The castle level of World 2, which introduces Podoboos.
