In Chapter 2, [[Mario]] breaks a vase belonging to [[Mimi]], under the guise of [[Merlee|Merlee's]] maid. Mimi orders Mario to pay for the vase in Rubees — one million of them, to be exact. Mario only had [[Coin]]s on him, however, so Mimi puts him to work to pay off the debt. Mario starts off working just like the other captives, but soon discovers a massive hoard of Rubees, allowing him to pay off the debt.
