Switches[1] are objects in Mario Pinball Land that appear in the pyramid in the Shifting Sands Stage. With enough speed, the player can hit a switch to open a hole or to summon enemies. Switches first appear in the first room of the pyramid, where the left and right switches open the holes, while the center switch summons Snakes. Some switches disable other switches when hit.
