Logo of Daisy's Flower Ball for Mario Superstar Baseball

Flower Ball is the name of the Special Ball that Daisy uses in Mario Superstar Baseball. While pitching, Daisy throws the ball with many scattered flowers on it. This disguises the ball and may confuse the batter.

If Daisy is batting, she hits the ball with scattered flowers surrounding it. This, again, may confuse the opponents on where the ball is. Once the ball is close to the ground, the flowers dissipate and the ball may hit the ground, uncovered, if the fielder does not catch it.

In Challenge Mode, the player must buy the Pretty Flowers in order for Daisy to learn to pitch the Flower Ball.

Flower Ball returns in Mario Super Sluggers, but with different effects. If a batter hits the baseball while it is under the effects of this Star Pitch, it'll fly at a very high angle, and usually not go very far, which often makes it possible to get the batter out. However, this swing can still sometimes result in a ball or bean ball if thrown at a curve. It can be countered by Star Swings. Oddly, the landing cursor is not visible during this Star Pitch, which can give the batter a free base if played in multiplayer.
