By bouncing on top of them and holding down the jump button while [[Flutter Jump]]ing, however, Yoshi can ascend much higher than normal, which is necessary to clear the level. Ruffin' Tumbles are round bird-like enemies that appear in Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World. They are very similar to Bowling Goonies from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and appear in World 3-2, Wobble Mobile Jaunt. In Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, they also appear in the Poochy Dash level Stitchy Scramble. In this level, one of the missions is to stomp Ruffin' Tumbles ten times. Like Bowling Goonies, they are found rolling along the ground and can hurt Yoshi if he touches one from the side. By bouncing on top of them and holding down the jump button while Flutter Jumping, however, Yoshi can ascend much higher than normal, which is necessary to clear the level.
