Sock Hop Land[1] (also spelled Sockhop Land[2]) is a kingdom ruled by Elvin Parsley in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! in the episode "Elvin Lives". It is themed after the American 1950's, and is known for its rock and roll. Kool Koopa and his greaser Goombas freeze King Parsley and take over, but Mario, Princess Toadstool, Toad and Luigi liberate the land and free King Parsley.
