A Chainsaw[1] (also called a Buzz Saw)[2] is a mechanical saw that travels on tracks in Super Mario World. Mario or Luigi can perform a Spin Jump on Chainsaws or stomp on them while on Yoshi to rebound on them. They appear in most of the levels that have tracks with platforms traveling across them. A large number of them can be found in the Cheese Bridge Area, while two of them are found in Way Cool.
In the Super Mario Mash-up in Minecraft, Stonecutters are replaced by Chainsaws.
