Vicious Vending is a 4-Player coin-collecting minigame found in Mario Party 5.

Introduction[edit]

Each of the four capsules is shown inside the vending machine (resembling gashapon machines) as the camera then zooms outside and shows the four players stopping in front of their machines as the game starts.

Gameplay[edit]

Each player must turn the handle on the machine to receive a capsule that contains something in five seconds. A small capsule then emerges from the machine, followed by the large capsule that gives the player their reward. The capsule might contain a Thwomp, a single coin, ten coins, or 20 coins.

One player always receives ten coins, while a second player gets 20 coins, leaving the other two players with Thwomps. Sometimes the one-coin capsule, the ten-coin capsule, and the 20-coin capsule all appear, leaving only one Thwomp.

Ending[edit]

All the players that obtained coins celebrate.
