Get Over It is a Team minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. Its name comes from a phrase meaning "to accept what has happened in the past and move on."

Introduction[edit]

The camera pans from right to left, showing both gates as well as the team members for the first team. A Grrrol then rolls in from the left, and the team members jump over it. While they jump, the screen divides into two/four, showing the other team(s) jumping over a Grrrol. The minigame then starts.

Gameplay[edit]

The minigame is set in a stone fortress exterior, where each team must jump over Grrrols of various speeds coming from either direction. If a team member hits a Grrrol, they are knocked into the water below and eliminated. The last team who survives wins. If both teams' last remaining members get hit simultaneously, the minigame ends in a draw.

On the Challenge Road, this is the eighth challenge of Mushroom Beach and the 29th challenge overall. The rival team of two players has four extra allies to help them. In the normal challenge, the player team also has four allies, but in the Master Challenge, the player team has only two allies.

Controls[edit]

  • Single Joy-Con Right Button – Jump

Although this is never stated in the game, the player can also shake Joy-Con to jump.

In-game text[edit]

  • Don't get bowled over!
  • Grrrols might roll in from the left or right!
