He mostly hangs around a gold [[Mushroom]] in the middle of the city with his mother, who is an orange female [[Pianta]] wearing glasses. He is also known to go down to the entrance when a catastrophe is happening (such as when one particular Pianta accidentally lets [[Chain Chomp|her pets]] loose). He can be a little childish at times, often wanting to indulge in very dangerous activities that may harm him, such as holding on to [[Fluff (object)|floating fluff]]s in the Fluff Festival, but he is also known to be very brave, as shown when he chooses to stay behind to evacuate all the villagers during a [[Plurp|Coo Coo]] attack on the village. He seems to have a wife, but she is never seen. The mayor also has a secret cash stash, located in the sun.
