4koma Manga Ōkoku is a series of Japanese comedy manga book anthologies, written and illustrated by various artists, and published by Futabasha. Futabasha published various mangas for various different video games, from 1991 to 2002. They published various books based on Super Mario titles. The premise of the books is that they are composed of many short, brief stories told exclusively in the format of four panels, a format which is called Yonkoma in Japan.
Two different series of books exist with the same premise and similar titles, named Super Mario 4koma Manga Theater (1991-1997) and 4koma Gag Battle (1995-2004).
