Bobo is a giant bird who features a black skull on his belly. He appeared as the fifth and second boss (respectively) in Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land and Wario Land II. Bobo had giant, clawed feet and sharp fangs inside his beak, which were used to rid Wario of his coins in Wario Land II and hurt him directly in the original Wario Land. Bobo made wind come up from the ground which flew Wario upwards. In both games, Bobo is defeated by being jumped upon five times.
