Hammer Time is a special move found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The Hammer Bros. were the only characters who learned this move. If used, the Hammer Bro. would throw multiple, impossible-to-block hammers at Mario. The attack power the Hammer Bro. used to hurt Mario is usually medium.
Trivia
- It is likely that this move is named after the famous "Hammertime" saying used in MC Hammer's song "U Can't Touch This".
- On the official website for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the battle system tutorial's explanation for hammer techniques is labeled "Hammer Time!". However, this is probably a reference to the aforementioned phrase rather than the (somewhat obscure) Super Mario RPG move.
