| A '''Shirt''' is a basic piece of armor that [[Mario]] wears in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]''. The Shirt is the first piece of armor that Mario acquires and it offers the least amount of protection. The plumber can purchase Shirts in the [[Mushroom Kingdom]] [[Item Shop]] for seven [[Coins]]. When equipped, the Shirt increases defense and magic defense by six points each. Only Mario can wear the Shirt.
