Super Mario Galaxy 2 totals sign?

Hey, do you know if there's an article about that blue totals sign to the left of the ship's wheel on Starship Mario in Super Mario Galaxy 2? I tried searching for it, but I still haven't found anything...I just need to know before I create an article about it...

Yeah, ur probably right about that, in fact, it was only because I read that entire article yesterday that I became aware that there wasnt an article about that already, because I thought that it definitely should have been mentioned in the article at least once, if not had its own article altogether. It really doesn't have any plot significance I guess, and as far as I know, it doesn't have an official name (the only thing that maybe would come close could be when Lubba introduces it to the player after it appears on Starship Mario for the first time at the beginning of the game, but I can't remember exactly what he says, so I forget if he gives it an official name or just calls it a "totals sign" or something), but as for being notable enough, I think it probably is, because it's the only "sign" like it between the two games. I'll probably just do what you said, that seems like a good idea...

Pipe Plaza Idea

Hello! I was thinking about writing a section for the Pipe Plaza called "Classics Revisited" where I could make a small review for a classic Mario game (N64 and GBC or earlier). I'd probably structure it by first introducing the story, then critiquing the game play, then lastly grading the game (A through F). Hi there; what I meant is that I just used the nowiki tag so that the text doesn't show on the article itself. I also said it on the talk page that once I snag the chance at getting images to make said chart, it will return. I took a closer inspection on the situation, I am assuming that the text STILL showed on the Mario Power Tennis article itself that I tried to take out? I tend to disagree strongly, and you basically said why. The DSi is nothing but a DS, and Nintendo themselves even said it is NOT a successor to the Nintendo DS at the time it launched and said the REAL successor was still in development. So that's why I wanted to edit the pages, simply because it's from Nintendo's own words that it's not a "sequel" or a "successor"...it's simply another redesign. If that were the case, you might as well call the Nintendo DS Lite a "Successor" as well because it "has new features."

Do we need these articles?

Hey, I was thinking about creating some articles, but idk if we actually need them:

- First, I was thinking of one for Bowser Jr.'s Robot Cockpit (u know, that he uses in Bowser Jr.'s Fiery Flotilla and Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet in Super Mario Galaxy 2) possibly called "Bowser Jr.'s Robot Cockpit," or maybe just "Robot Cockpit..." I was also going to tie it in to the Megahammer article, given that it is actually a part of Megahammer (though this is not revealed until Fearsome Fleet).

- Then, I was going to make one for those weird elongated glass cages that many Lumas always seem to be trapped in in SMG and SMG2 (not those round ones with bars that Bullet Bills can break, though now that I think of it, idk if there is even an article for those either :O), which for some reason I don't think we have on here already...I was going to differentiate between the regular ones which only require the destruction of an enemy to open, as opposed to the ones with keyholes on the top, which obviously require the use of a key to open. I would also incorporate the one in the second pic here into the article as well, as like a sort of larger variation of the normal glass cages that is specifically used to contain a Grand Star in this instance.
- Then I wanted to make a Star List article, in which I would discuss the similarities and differences between the Star List in Super Mario Galaxy and the Star List in Super Mario Galaxy 2, as well as how they both function to help the player keep track of how many total Power Stars they currently have.

- Finally, I have been feverishly looking around here for an article about those light-greenish white aquamarinish (please excuse all of that) portals that are created by Grand Stars and that lead from World to World in Super Mario Galaxy 2, but I could not find one at all. SWFlash said it may be under a conjectural name somewhere, but I have no idea whatsoever what that would be, and after thouroughly checking [[Category:Super Mario Galaxy 2]], I'm inclined to say that no such article exists as of yet. Would you know anything about this at all?

I was just going to go off of the precedent set by Bowser Jr.'s Boomsday Machine, which is just called "Boomsday Machine" in the article, but just calling it "Robot Cockpit" I don't think sounds right...

Fishbones?

Just for the sake of clarification, do these things appear to be Fishbones to you or not? As far as I can tell, there's no article about them already (if they're not actually Fishbones, that is), and the only time they're mentioned, they're referred to as "robotic fish," and in another article they're mistaken for Torpedo Teds. I did insert a section for them in the Fishbone article already, because the similarities, to me at least, seemed to be clear as day, but I just thought I should check before I left it like that. If not, we should definitely create an article for them...

No, I know for a fact that they're definitely not launched from cannons (or any other mechanical device for that matter). If I remember correctly, they are summoned by Kingfin and appear out of a dark crevice or hole in the middle part of the planet...

By "taking action" I mean featuring the article. In the source of the {{preload/fa}}, it's said "When it hits 5-0". It's like 21-11 (or 10-0) already, why sould we wait more? SWFlash
