Grab Bag first appears in Mario Party as a 4-Player minigame. Its name is a play on words of "grab bag" which is a term used when someone wins a bag filled with stuff. In Mario Party 2, Grab Bag is only playable in Party Mode as a Battle Minigame. In both games, it involves players pressing the B Button to grab other players' bags and steal their coins (in Mario Party) or mushrooms (in Mario Party 2). The player with the most at the end of the time limit is the winner.
