- With a total of eighty-eight minigames, Mario Party 7 (pictured) has the highest amount of minigames in the Mario Party series.
- Grass Land is the only world of Super Mario Bros. 3 that does not have an alternate name.
- In Paper Mario, if Peach uses the Sneaky Parasol to transform into a Koopatrol guard right as she gets caught by one of them, they'll take the disguised Peach back to her bedroom (she appears standing up) and toss her down normally.
- Mario was going to appear in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing as a character exclusive to the Nintendo Wii version, but was taken out after Nintendo and Sega agreed that Mario/Sonic crossovers were best suited for the Olympic Games series.
