- In English versions of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, a small Toad in Petalburg will discuss playing Game Boy Advance games, saying that his favorite is Fire Emblem. In the Japanese version of the game, he instead discusses playing Famicom games, with his favorite being Super Mario Bros.
