Line Slash.

Line Slash is a microgame made by Masahiro Sakurai with WarioWare: D.I.Y. for download in the category Big Name Games. It is available in Japan since May 27, 2009, in America since March 29, 2010, and in Europe since April 30, 2010. Unlike most Big Name Games, it is not known to be taken off in the future.

Gameplay

The background of the microgame depicts a lone tree on a hill covered with shadows in a blazing orange sunset. To the right of the background is a person wearing a red shirt. There is also a small white line going through the center of the whole screen. The winning condition of the game is to slice the two objects that appear. These objects include a peach, a watermelon, a Tengu mask, and a bomb with a long fuse, but only a mix of two appear per game. The objects bounce up and down along the screen at different speeds per object, with the Tengu mask being the fastest and watermelon being the slowest.

The objective of the game is to slice both the objects in half. The player then has to tap the screen in order for the objects to be slashed. However, both the objects that appear have to touch the white line going through the screen. If the player only manages to slice one of the objects and not the other, the microgame will end, the Freeze effect will play, and the person's face will change to one of disappointment. The other way the player can lose is if they slice the bomb instead of the fuse. This will cause the explosive to go off and end the game in a loss.
