Delfino Plaza

Delfino Plaza is the place where Mario and Peach go to enjoy vacation in Super Mario Sunshine. This area is the main city of the game, and has many services, varying from fruit stands to some guy you can pay to chuck you into a building. The Shine Sprites mean alot to the Piantas that inhabit the city. There is a giant Shine Sprite on top of a bell in a far section of the city.

When Shadow Mario scatters the shine sprites and dirties the giant Shine sprite, Delfino Plaza was cast into darkness. All the inhabitants blamed Mario, and forced him to clean the entire Isle with only a trusty water pack.
