ID UFO

ID UFO is a 2 vs. 2 minigame found in Mario Party 5 exclusively.

In this game, the player must team up with another player or CPU and try to ground pound six panels with UFO drawings on them (three and three respectively) before the other team. Two UFOs fly to the screen and remain floating there. The goal is for one player to ground pound the panel with one of the UFOs while the other ground pounds the other. This must be done at the same time. This will make the UFOs fly away and make two new UFOs appear. Once this is repeated three times, the game ends and both players are awarded with ten coins.

It's interesting to note the wicked designs each UFO has. While all of them look different from each other, most of them share certain characteristics, with the ultimate goal of confusing the player into ground pounding the wrong panel.
