A Star Medal is an item found in Super Paper Mario. They can only be aquirred by purchasing them at Howzit's shop at Flipside for fifty coins. When used, it gives the player 1000 points added to their score.
Gold Medals are better versions of the Star Medal. They can only be aquirred by purchasing them at Notso's shop at Flopside for five hundred coins. When used, a Star Medal gives the player 10,000 points added to their score.
