Charold is a character found in the Underwhere in Super Paper Mario. He may be payed four coins to ferry the player across the River Twygz. However, this is not required. The relation between Charold and Queen Jaydes is not mentioned. It is also unknown wether or not Charold is, in fact, living his "after-game" life or working for Queen Jaydes. It is a possibility that he is in debt to her for something, he is a very mysterious character. Also, Charold's skin color matches that of Count Bleck, some people believe that this may be because they ar both descendants of the Tribe of Darkness.

• His name is based on the ferrier of the Underworld in Greek Mythology, Charon.
