Semisolid Platform
Semi-Solid Platforms are platforms that are solid on the top, but not on the bottom. In Super Mario Bros., players could not jump up from the bottom of the platform to get to the top. After Super Mario Bros., players were able to get to the top from jumping from the bottom.

Semi-Solid Platforms appeared in New Super Mario Bros. DS, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, New Super Mario Bros. 2, and New Super Mario Bros. U.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U
Semi-Solid Platforms appear in the stage Mushroom Kingdom U. The player can fall through the Semi-Solid Platform by press .
