Paper Bowser Jr. is the paper version of Bowser Jr. in the game Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. He represents Bowser Jr. from Paper Mario: Sticker Star. Alongside various other paper characters, Paper Bowser Jr. came out of the book containing the whole Paper Mario universe.
History
Paper Bowser Jr. makes his debut as a wholly unique character from Bowser Jr. in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. He first appears at Bowser's Castle at the beginning of the game, meeting the real Bowser Jr.; but unlike the two Bowsers, the two Bowser Jr.'s quickly resolve their argument and become best friends.
Later on in the game, they are put on guard patrol, watching Peach and Paper Peach on the summit of Mount Brrr. However, they are fooled by wooden pop-ups of the Princesses and accidentally allow them to escape. Soon after, the Mario trio meets both of them on Mount Brrr. However, the Bowser Jr.'s came with their own Papercraft Bowser Jr. After the Papercraft Battle, the Jr.'s flee and leave behind the seal allowing access to Bowser's Castle.
Later, in Bowser's Castle, the Mario trio meets the them again. The Paper Bowser Jr.and his real-life counterpart triy their hardest to defeat the Trio through a variety of tricks and traps, including Barrels and Shy Guys, but eventually fail and seemingly become crippled in some way. Bowser and Paper Bowser come to yell at the two Bowser Jrs., but when they see that they can barely move or speak, the Bowsers, now very mad at the Mario trio for their actions, pick up the Jr.'s and take them away.
Paper Bowser Jr. isn't seen again for the rest of the game, and presumably returned to the Paper Mario book along with the rest of the paper characters at the end of the game.
Battle
In Bowser's Castle, the Mario trio meet up with Bowser Jr. and Paper Bowser Jr., initiating a battle. During the battle, Paper Bowser Jr. is riding in his Paper Jr. Clown Car.
During battle, the Bowser Jr. duo do attacks that involve both of them doing attacks in tandem, including:
- Fireball Barage- Shy Guys put barrels over the trio, preventing the player from knowing who is who. Then, the duo shoot fireballs from their Junoir Clown Cars at the trio
- Airplane Contest- Paper Bowser Jr. and Paper Mario turn into their Airplane forms and are thrown by their real-world counterparts. The Paper rivals try to fly farther than the other by lifting up as they fall down to ground. The losing team gets hit by Spikes.
The Jr.'s can also heal each other using Super Mushrooms if they get Knocked Out.
