Coin Collection is one of four randomly selected minigames after the player completes a world in Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. In this minigame, Mario or Luigi must jump to collect all the coins he can within 30 seconds while riding on a cloud. Mario or Luigi also needs to jump over and duck under Spinies floating in the air to avoid them. The player must press up on the Dance Pad to jump and press down on it to duck. If Mario or Luigi hits a Spiny, he will get knocked away from the clouds with a Lakitu carrying him back.
