The '''Fruit Cup''' is a [[cup]] that appears in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' as part of the ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]]'' DLC. It is the first of two cups in the fourth wave of the DLC, being released alongside the [[Boomerang Cup]], the seventh cup of the pass overall, and the nineteenth cup of the game overall. It features three [[classic course]]s and a [[new course]] called [[Yoshi's Island (race course)|Yoshi's Island]], making it the second cup in the pass to feature a new course, after the [[Propeller Cup]]. The emblem of the cup is a [[Fruit (Yoshi food)|Yoshi fruit]]; similar to {{classic link|GCN|Yoshi Circuit}}'s inclusion in the [[Egg Cup]], Yoshi's Island's inclusion in this cup relates to the cup's emblem, as both are associated with [[Yoshi]]. The decorations on this cup's [[trophy]] are green.

*In the [[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe#Pre-release and unused content|game's data]], the filenames for {{classic link|GBA|Riverside Park}}, and {{classic link|Wii|DK Summit}} both imply that they were originally set for different placements in the pass (the third course of the [[Boomerang Cup]], and the second course of the Fruit Cup, respectively). Additionally, the internal name for {{classic link|DS|Mario Circuit}} (which is the second course of the Boomerang Cup in the final version) indicates it was originally meant to appear as the third course of this cup.
